Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Eva and Marg that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!
Well, I had my checkouts down to a reasonable number but so many new books have been released recently my total’s back up. Here’s what I checkout:
- The Monstrumologist by Richard Yancey
- Looking for Alaska by John Green
- One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest by Ken Kesey

- Going Bovine by Libba Bray
- Candor by Pam Bachorz
- Fire by Kristin Cashore (!!!!!)
- Liar by Justine Larbalestier
- Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld
- Ice by Sarah Beth Durst
- In the Path of Falling Objects by Andrew Smith
- My Invented Life by Laura Bjorkman
Recheckouts:
- Libyrinth by Pearl North
- Mare’s War by Tanita Davis
- True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex
Currently Reading: Once again between books but I just finished Fire and I’m still on a bit of a high from it. :)

AT some point I am sure that I will get hold of Going Bovine. Not sure if the storyline sounds so good that I have to buy it though!

I love it when other people check out as many books as me! I loved Looking for Alaska. :D The Monstrumulogist has a hilarious title!

There’s just too many good books out there and it is hard to say no at the library when it doesn’t cost anything (except fines).
I can’t believe I haven’t read Looking for Alaska yet but I’ve heard good things and I’m looking forward to it. And if you like the title of The Monstrumologist, you should see the cover.
