I have completed what I can for the Bloggiesta. Here’s what I accomplished:

Total Time: 8 hrs 30 mins (30 mins longer than my goal, yeah!

Set up and organized my Google Reader
Completed review and scheduled post for The Season by Sarah MacLean
Completed review and scheduled post for Once Dead, Twice Shy by Kim Harrison
Completed review and scheduled post for Shine, Coconut Moon by Neesha Meminger
Completed review for Emily the Strange: The Lost Day by Rob Reger
Wrote 3/4 of a review for Brothers Torres by Coert Voorhees
Participated in the Grade Your Blog minichallenge hosted by Bookish Ruth.

I also spent a lot of time on Twitter, updating my progress, learning about other people’s progress, and finding new blogs. I commented on several blogs and added a few to my feed reader.

I am very happy with my progress. I was able to complete almost all of the reviews I wanted to and have a good start on the one I didn’t review. I didn’t complete my Katsa vs. Katniss post idea but it’s been waiting since last September, it can wait a bit more and will probably be more timely closer to the new book releases anyway.

I had a wonderful time participating in the Bloggiesta and look forward to future Bloggiestas!

Read all of the minichallenges
Participated in the site grader challenge (89% woot, woot!)
Have been periodically commenting on other blogs but didn’t realize until too late that it was a minichallenge so I haven’t been keeping track, though I know it hasn’t been 10
Finished my Shine, Coconut Moon by Neesha Meminger post and scheduled it (for Wednesday, I believe, if you want to check back…oh, and The Season post is scheduled for Sunday and Once Dead, Twice Shy is scheduled for Tuesday)
Wrote Emily the Strange: The Lost Days post but didn’t schedule it yet because I want to edit it when I’m not so tired.

That’s it for me on Day 1 of Bloggiesta. I won’t be able to participate tomorrow because of work and some other fun things scheduled for the evening. I’ll be back bright but maybe not early Sunday morning. To meet my goals I have one more hour and two more posts left, though I would be happy with just finishing my last book review.

Natasha at Maw Books is hosting a Bloggiesta, a blog housekeeping challenge, and I’m joining since I’ve been saying I’m going to catch up on reviews for the past two weeks or so now.

Timeline: June 19-21
My Total Hours Goals: 8 (I know, wimpy, but I spent about 3-4 hours on my blog template and such last weekend and I’m not sure exactly how much I can devote this weekend. I guess we’ll see)
My Bloggy Goals: Write reviews for The Season by Sarah MacLean, Once Dead, Twice Shy by Kim Harrison, Emily the Strange: The Lost Days by Rob Reger, et al., The Brothers Torres by Coert Voorhees, and Shine, Coconut Moon by Nina Meminger. Write post I’ve been tossing around about who would win a fight between Katsa and Katniss.
